Rum King in Bottle shops

Any specific time or starting at open until they run out?

 

they said hits some stores Tuesday, then other stores depending on location wed-friday

 

I am sorry, I can't find where I saw it. But I am positive it said at the taproom on wednesday at 3.

 

Just saw on Twitter that Casanova tweeted Wisconsin denied the label for Rum King so no Rum King for Wisco.

I am interested in why they would deny Rum King's label. There is nothing to it, just arty scrolly text.

 

How much is Rum King and what's the bottle count? Coming up for dd and wanted to try to set up an ip trade, just need an idea of what I need to offer for it.

In the Hullabaloo thread someone said about 4300 bottles. They said they also put it in a bunch of kegs, so sounds like it will be flowing pretty freely on tap. The brewery was selling the bottles for $16.99. Distro bottles probably will be more.

Their staple Day Tripper is very solid APA and Midnight Ryder is worth a try. Not sure if it will still be around, but the fresh hopped mosaic is killer. I would recommend going to the brewery, they always have something good or interesting on cask.

Most places I spoke with today said Thursday. If it's at the tap room I may have to swing by there after work and keep my fingers crossed.

 

I plan on coming but not until the morning. I have to patch servers from 2 to 5 am on Saturday morning.

I know someone that went on Sunday and it was still flowing and it sounded like it said it would be for a while. They mentioned that they were going to have plenty of kegs this year. They also will be selling bottles at the brewery on Wednesday and beyond (obviously if they don't sell out). Not sure how many, but this sounded as though it was a separate allotment than for Saturday, but maybe not. On top of that, it sounds like they didn't sell out on Saturday of that allotment.

Yes it is limited, but with a little work, I don't think it will be too hard to get this week. Nothing like last year.

Agreed... Day Tripper is a great APA, one of the best I've had. Sweet Yamma Jamma is an interesting riff on the fall spiced/ pumpkin beers (it's made with Yams as opposed to pumpkin) and midnight Ryder is quite good too. However, their fresh hop Mosiac is pretty ordinary. Had it on daft tonight and thought it was average, at best.

 

Last year was my first DD and my number one place to go to was also Town Hall and I was disappointed. I had Rum King at GABF and it's worth getting.

 

Burn the heretic!!!

 

Better yet, banish him to the bottle share that has Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Light, and (gasp) Lime a Rita!
