I have a Guinness clone that I am pushing through a new stout tap with beer gas at 30 psi. It seems that particles in the beer (I didn't filter it or anything like that) are getting stuck in the restrictor plate of the faucet, causing a very slow flow. Anyone have any experience with this situation?

Are you guessing, or have you taken the faucet apart and seen the clogging?

I have taken it apart and seen the clogging. Cleaned it. Put it back together and poured another glass and it gets clogged again and the flow slows down. I figure I will just live with it and filter the next batch.

How long has it been chilled? Maybe you can wait for it all to settle out and use a regular tap to get all the junk out first and then apply the stout tap.

It had been chilled for 24 hours before I tapped it.
