Had war elephant on draft and was very happy with it. Cracked open a can and its not as hazy and juicy. It taste very similar to the Equinox Other Half single hop. A little disappointed since I bought more cans based on the draft taste.

I have some from the last batch and plan on comparing to this batch. The last batch was excellent and is much more to my taste than DBZ. That being said, I'm enjoying this batch of DBZ more than the last. I've noticed appearance wise this batch of DBZ is clear, where the last was hazy.

Does the hop bill on DBZ change all the time?

Can anyone report on what's left?

I saw about 8 cases of each when I left at 5:00 today.

Did anyone else try the Azacca Pale Ale? Really tasty.

Every batch of DBZ has been different AFAIK and I think I have only missed tasting one of them.

Drinking a DBZ right now, almost clear, as Chris noted above, great aroma, quite delicious.

    Oh, and Cheers! @SammyJaxxxx

Just to follow up, opened up another can of War Elephant. Draft taste was there, much hazier. Not so miffed about the amount I bought.

Also, these are the closest tasting to Other Half IPA's as I've had.

I suppose this means some BIFers will be getting some Rushing Duck. Hehe. I was a little worried after your comments about your vehicle being messed up.

Came prepared with growlers to fill, very happy to find cans still available, so much easier to ship than growlers.

So as much as I love Divided By Zero the Rushing Duck team had sold me on another IPA. Their beer Pay To Play is amazing. It's a very "juicy" IPA and well worth the support.

Agreed, PTP is amazing. DBZ is good, but I much prefer War Elephant. Their smoked beer is good and as I mentioned earlier I really enjoyed the Imperial Beanhead.

I've gotten growlers of that one before, and it does seem like it is designed to be in that NE style.

I love pay to play and beanhead.
I would take the trip for growlers of those even without cans

I might finally get back up there in April. Looking forward to sampling again. Haven't been there since last August, I think.

Just a heads up that a can of War Elephant, new batch, got a seam pinhole leak today in the car. I was bringing it to work to give to a customer I like, smelled something really good when I got to the facility, immediately picked up the beer and a fine stream was exiting via the top of the side seam.

Nothing to do but pop it open at that point. Glad there were no customers waiting, sometimes there are, as I had to drink the beer for a work breakfast. Yummm.

Went in for the first time a couple weeks ago with 4 growlers (2 64, 2 32) assuming I'd get 64's of War Elephant and Divided by Zero and 32's of Beanhead and something else. After tasting, my friend and I agreed Pay To Play was our favorite and got a 64 of it.

That's the real fun part about this hobby and visiting breweries.
