I was there around 4pm yesterday. Seemed like Divided by Zero and War Elephant cans were very, very low, down to about 1.5-2 cases each (unless there were more in the back). Plenty of Zingerbier and CFKM cans, and about a case and a half of Pomme de Chester bottles.

Seems like they had more DBZ, according to facebook and IG. No mention of War Elephant, but it's in the picture.

 

This batch of War Elephant is going down particularly easy.

 

Fyi, Rushing Duck is now on beermenus. And it is up to date. They have four cans currently. Divided by Zero, War Elephant (not much in the cooler), Zingerbier and Consumer Friendly Keg Mover (which is a delicious Pale Lager).

Anyone else finding latest batch of DBZ has improved steadily since release? Drinking one now, so delicious.

Picked up a case of DBZ and a few 4 pks of war elephant when I was in the area last weekend. Every time I am fortunate to stop at Rushing Duck I am blown away by their beer/good vibes and moderate prices. Probably no better kept secret in the NY beer scene now that Prison City has blown up recently.

 

This DBZ is really subdued. The Azzaca gives it a melon taste. I really liked it. My wife was meh on it. Wish it was Citra and Azzaca rather than Azzaca and Citra if you know what I mean, but its still a great beer.

 

The two cans of DBZ I had were steeped in that uniquely hoppy quality- part onion, part sweat, part MJ, but not clearly any of those to me- I just call it 'savory'. Man, I thoroughly enjoyed them. Will definitely make the trip again next time.

 

I love hops that bring the onion and MJ vibe. Sweat, though? Not so much.

 

Right? Fortunately it never seems to go beyond that 'vague' territory and straight to 'locker room' .

 

DBZ w/ Vic Secret should be stellar:

New batch of DBZ on today! This one is intensely hoppy and the first batch featuring Vic Secret. Vic Secret is a hop from Australia that has elements of citus and pine making this batch incredibly fruity. We are open today 4-8, Friday 12-8, Saturday 12-8, and Sunday 12-4.​
