Huh. Stumbled upon this thread while waiting for laundry. Found out they are having an anniversary party. I love barleywines. Never been. The fact there is a beer than supposedly I should drink last makes me intrigued. Sounds awesome. See you there.

With endless surprises, it's as if the anniversary has yet to conclude:

 

I'll be heading up here this coming Saturday. Do they usually have cans of War Elephant available or is that a once in a while thing? Based on reading the previous page, I guess I should also expect to get lost on the way there haha.

 

Drive around the square a couple of times. That means you are in the right spot. Park, wander around and you will find it.

No, cans of War Elephant are not a regular thing. Most likely, if they were releasing cans this week it would have already been announced. As of the last update, they still had cans of their ginger berliner. I would expect that War Elephant will be on tap so bring a couple of empty growlers. I suggest trying "Make Chester Cool Again." I thought that beer was stellar.

 

Stopped in today on the way to Equilibrium. War elephant is delicious, but the feature was Part VI. An easy sellout at a better known brewery. Go get some. I'll be back soon for sure.

 

Despite all the advice here from @SammyJaxxxx about finding the brewery, we still drove right past it and had to pull a uturn in the grocery store next door. Rite of passage complete?

I had a bunch of beers, but Part VI was the standout. It's the perfect beer to bring to a bottle share.

I really enjoyed the mellow vibe here. Everyone was friendly. James is great.
