    Made the mistake of not buying enough Imperial Beanhead last year.... won’t make that mistake this year!

    It really was impressive. Such a creamy mouthfeel, big coffee. One of the best porters, imperial or not, I've ever had the pleasure to drink.

    I was thinking of picking up some cans of Imperial Beanhead this week and realized I checked it into untappd about a year ago with the comments that it was pretty thin. I love stouts (porters?) that are thick and have great mouthfeel. Based on how @guinness77 is describing Imperial Beanhead, does this sound like I checked in the regular version of Beanhead by accident?

    I never drank regular Beanhead, but I remember the Imperial being like silk on the tongue. I don't know when you drank yours, but I had one can that lasted until Spring, you know, science, and it had definitely fell off a bit.

    My son and I visited RD yesterday. My first time since Duck In opened. It's a very nice space with something like 20 taps. I have to say, though, that I'll always spend some time in Duck Out which has such a great atmosphere, including James the Cat. I really recommend Such is Mango and DBZ (Jarrylo & Simcoe). They're both really, really tasty!

    Duckburgh is amazing! Evil Yule Cat is pretty darn good too! RD keeps brewing great beer.

    yeah Evil Yule Cat is a very good one -- RD's menu description is spot on in that it starts to fondly resemble a cream soda as it warms :slight_smile:

    Drank my Burn the Devil Out last night, which was nice. It seamed like the alcohol presence picked up as I got towards the end of it. Was this actually the case, my taste or due to it warming up? Just curious as I haven't experienced that before. It is 15.9% abv.
