Rushing Duck (2018)

Can't wait for the War Elephant in cans, especially since it sounds like it's only a month away.

 

I saw that as well, good for us indeed! A month or two ago I saw their existing system up for sale over on Pro Brewer.

 

Great to see how they're blowing up. They seemed so small when they first opened but right off the bat they had several beers that tasted great. You could tell they were going to be successful.

 

@cavedave.... as you know im naming my first born after you for those cans of dbz. Let me know when a good time to meetup is. I can neither confirm nor deny of any beers coming your way

I love the place. Don't blink or you'll miss it..I did the first time

 

This batch of DBZ is excellent. We went down last Sunday and were surprised to see only three cases left. We've been lucky to have gotten cases of each of the three releases and these might be my favorite.

I keep missing De leven doden on tap when I go there. That might be my favorite beer they make and I'll be really bummed if I dont get at least a growler fill of it this year.

 

Love this place, new DBZ is awesome, worth the trip up there. I got 2 cases and handed them out to friends to try and get the name out there.

 

Yessss, current batch of Pay to Play is awesome. If this hits cans I'm ridingthat metro north! There's a lot of citrus and minimal bitterness with a softly sweet and bready body. It reminds me of this most recent Oscillation batch but a bit lighter all around.

And in the best way possible Gimme Samoa That is exactly what it's supposed to be!

 

Was there today, next cans in 1-2 weeks. War elephant and divided by zero will be the release

What are the hours for a can release? I might be driving by there earlier in the day.

 

Interesting fact- if one was to ski Mt Creek they could be at Rushing Duck in less than 30 min

I have not gone to a release at RD yet, so couldn't tell you.

But with this one, if it is War Elephant and Divided by 0, I'd go sooner rather than later.

 

I'll be the old hippy with pony tail beard and tie dye headband eating a Subway sandwich in the "lot" at 3:30. Hope that answers your question, it's best I can do.

 

Yes! Worked out pretty well for me after downhilling at creek this past summer.
