My wife is going on a work trip to L.A. and has graciously offered to pick up some beer for me. Would love to get one or more of the following, if possible:

    Russian River Supplication
    Almanac Heirloom Pumpkin barleywine
    Alpine Nelson
Hair of the dog (really any)

If anyone has seen any of these around, and/or can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it!

    Cheers!

Almanac is in pretty fair supply in LA. I've seen it at Stearns, Wine Country and a few other places. Same for Hair of the Dog. Alpine is a big nope and same goes for Supplication

There's a place in Santa Ana (Orange County), Nadys Liquor, that currently has Supplication, Consecration, and Temptation for $20 each.

I can see why. That's a jacked up price. Mention WHERE in LA and people can tell her where she can walk to get the Almanac Barleywine. As far as RR and Alpine. Good luck.

Tell her to head to Venice Whole Foods and Beverage Warehouse.
And would add Whole Foods Venice to to that list. No guarantee they'll have the beers requested by OP, but still a very good selection.

Not exactly Santa Monica, but if she's here during the weekend when traffic is a bit lighter, I was at Ramirez Beverage Center near Downtown LA today, and they had lots of Almanac Heirloom Pumpkin Barleywine. They had HotD Fred too. Alpine Nelson and RR Supplication, as others have mentioned, good luck. They do have a very large selection, so you may be able to find other beers you might be interested in that weren't on your list.
