If you know someone, then maybe. If not, then no. Sit at the bar and ask the bartenders if you can share some beer with them. If you're bringing some good shit, then I'll drive up and we can parking lot bottleshare haha.

My friend is there said roughly 30 allocations left to go and about 15 ppl in line. I'd imagine it goes in the next hour or two if that's accurate Intel.

I was just about to leave, but it's 1.5 hr drive. Doubt it will be there

I'd go just to get a pour or two if nothing else. Given how many times they've miscounted things so far, I wouldn't believe the 30 allocations number.

I called, and the guy at the bar said I would probably be disappointed. When you say 30 allocations....is that the 6 per person?

I just called as well and was told they would be selling their last bottles in the next hour. Glad I won't be making the 2 hour drive

@GolfingGq, my friend was told by the bottle shop person that the 30 odd six packs there was the last for sale to public period. He is a good friend with no reason it lie but I'm not going to say that the RR person wasn't misinformed themself.

I was asking because I thought I might go on my lunch break but I'm not going to bother skipping my meal.

I have a couple of Toppling Mornin Delights but they aren't likely to make the trip from Iowa.

I have to do a 2013 vs. 2015 bottle comparison. I feel like this year's batch isn't nearly as good as the last one. Anyone else feel the same way? Now that everyone has it, I guess we can start actually talking about the beer itself. Isn't that crazy?

For those interested in trying 2013 but without a bottle stash, they were selling 2013 bottles (for in house consumption only) for $30. I thought about it, but couldn't justify it vs. another $7 draft of 2015.

My buddies and I split the batch 6 bottle yesterday next to batch 7. They seem completely different. Past Beats have been citrus acid and very sour, this one is less tart and more of a pineapple flavor.

Oh yeah, rr has last batch for in house only, it's $30 per bottle. Did a side by side the other day but of course that's draft vs bottle. Think I preferred the last batch for where it's at now... More complex.
But who knows, this batch may be just as good once it's that far out.

Not to say I don't enjoy this years batch. Bright, little lemony perhaps, substantially tart, and well cleaned up from the first pour I got at WFB, where I recall getting mucho bike tire rubber. These impressions are only for draft, haven't had a bottle yet.

Also believe Vinnie said at WFB this batch was more pedio heavy than any in the past. That part of it is all a bit out of my wheelhouse and therefore I can't say how that would effect things but I wouldn't be surprised if people find a difference in the batches. Tweaked recipe, tweaked results.

As far as this batch fresh vs last batch fresh, I gotta bow out. I've never trusted myself to accurately remember a beer for two years and am also suspicious of my own palate evolving. I don't doubt that some are capable, but not me.

Wouldn't one expect a spontaneously fermented ale to be different, sometimes very different, from batch to batch?

I had it at Wild Friendship and had it last week at the Craft Brew Summit Beer Fest and still couldn't remember to compare it to drinking it yesterday...

Pedio is also a notoriously slow mover, so I think it will just continue to get better.

Same friend who's is now drinking at the bar says bottles are sold out as of a few moments ago. Wild ride.
