Yep, we will all know at the same time. I don't recall it being that much lead time, though. I thought it was more like a week or two.

Guess it wasn't quite that long. Announced on 11/23/13, released on 12/14/13.

I ask someone at the brewery and they said expect this to be released in the fall.

Speculating here but the fall seems likely based on Vinnie's 4-6 month estimate back in April.

It probably won't be in late September (GABF) or October (FFAC), so maybe early Sept or Nov??

I asked the guys at Russian River this weekend and they said they had no idea - it will be released when ready.

Please be in the next month. I have a feeling it's going to be late September and I'm going to miss it again.

Just went last weekend and was sad to miss it. Also surprised temptation is not in the coming soon section

Does anyone know what bottle limit was for last release?

I get the feeling limits will be cut back this release with ever increasing demand

Also consider if it's like FFAC, they'll release a certain amount each day...

I expected Temptation to hit before Beat.

Beat. is going to be a complete and udder shitshow. :slight_frown:

Well, the last Beat release was just over 1,000 cases. I don't think the last FFAC release was that many cases. But my guess is that this will be six bottles per person. Those were the limits for batch 5 but who knows how much they produced this time around.

basically it means folks will be walking home with 2 cases instead of 4. Their whole system is wonky. You bought at the bar or at your table and half of the folks were just walking up to the bar and buying another.

Shit, my group had 3 cases (3 of us there) sitting at the table with us and the waitress asked if we wanted another. This was while the "bottles only" line was moving at a snails crawl.

Given how smoothly last FFAC (after some day 1 snags), last Younger, and the wild friendship event all went... I gotta say that I think RR is finally rising to the challenge. I fully expect some type of ticket or wristband system to keep limits intact, and a well organized line with a dedicated bottle sale station. Nothing you can do about people with a pack of mules but I think the other problems are being addressed.

My wallet would gladly welcome a smaller limit. Those bottles aren't cheap when you're buying a whole case.

Do they post the actual date right before the release on Facebook or their website? Going to be out there in 2 weekends

If it releases in the next week and a half and anyone isn't maxing out and wants nightmare on Brett I can swap it with you

They generally give a few weeks notice prior to the release. In 2013, it was announced in late November and bottles went on sale December 14th.

It's probably still another month and a half out. They'd at least give us 2-3 weeks worth of heads up before it goes on sale.
