I have perused some previous threads but couldn't find anything current so I was hoping some people could chime in on the price and limit of bottles to go at the Russian River Brewpub. I was there years ago and it was a 6 bottle limit of Pliny but not sure if that is still the same. Thanks.

I was just there last Friday and limits were 6 on Blind Pig and 12 on Pliny. Not sure about the limit on sours, but I picked up 2 each of Temptation and Consecration as well

FYI when I was there on a Friday night I waited til 10 or so (after pints and food) to order to go bottles. I got Pliny and the sours but they were out of Blind Pig even though it was on the board/website. In other words, scout more thoroughly than I did when you enter

    Bump...
I know this question has been asked here before, but cannot find it. It's probably an old post.
Planning to fly into Santa Rosa via SFO (we just added 3 flts per day to STS). How long is the wait to get inside on any given Saturday? Our plan is to catch the first flt out of SFO which lands in STS at 140pm. Probably a 20 minute Uber ride to RRBC. Last flt out of STS is at 510pm. That should give us about 2 hours at the pub for lunch and drinks and to gather up our cases to bring back home via check in bags/boxes. Yes I know 2 hours ain't a whole hell of much time to spend at the pub. But we've been there many times and we are there to grab some cases of Elder and BP to bring back with us. I figure have lunch and 3-4 pints there is good enough.

If you find yourself with more BP than you know what to do with, let me know. :grinning:

hard to say. I've waited anywhere from 15 minutes on a saturday to an hour for a table during lunch time. I don't think the beatification release will help either because there might be quite a few people that will make the trip to RR over the weekend in hopes of a Beat drop.

When is the Beautification release? June 7? Flying there either July 15th or the following Saturday. Depends on how the flights look.

    this was posted on 6/8:

Beatification will be available at our pub on draft for on-premise enjoyment. Like all our sour beers there will be no growlers to go. The last time we had Beatification for about a month, so there is plenty of time to stop by and enjoy a glass or two! Bottles will be released "spontaneously" throughout the next several weeks 100 cases at a time. We have about 700 cases. There will be a 6 bottle limit per person at $20 per bottle. The chalkboard on our website shows all current releases including bottles. The only announcement we will make is updating our chalkboard the morning of a release. Not even our staff will know until that morning if bottles will be available. We are a brewpub first and need to be considerate to our guests who are merely coming to enjoy their beer and pizza. That said, it will be possible for us to host a more celebratory event at our new brewery in Windsor where we will have much more space and 2 acres of FREE parking! We feel this is the best way to ensure that everyone has the same opportunity to enjoy a world-class customer experience at Russian River Brewing Company! A spontaneous release for a spontaneous beer!

    Couple items here...

IMO, it's not enough time to get in, sit down, eat, drink, get bottles and leave. The past several visits I've done there on a weekend, you'll be in line for at least 30 minutes to even get in. That won't get you a table, that'll take another 30-45 depending on your group size. If you want to just drink it might be possible. By that time the kitchen will be fully loaded, and food will take another 30 minutes.

The other option is to get in the to-go line which moves very quickly. You can fill growlers etc in that line as well as getting bottles..

I've heard rumors that all flights out of STS allow you to check a box of beer/wine for free. You might want to look into that!

Beat is totally random, however there will be at least one weekend day where it's released. No one will know that until the morning of. Even then, all Beat is sold out of the to-go line. If you're seated at a table, you have to get up and go to the kiosk to buy it.

Going to be in SF area in a few weeks but with 2 kids and staying 90 minutes away. Are bottles available outside of the brewery or do you have to go there? Id obviously love to go but it wont be easy.

Waaaaay easier to go there if you're looking for Pliny and Blind Pig. The brewpub is kid friendly. Tons of kids and babies everytime I'm there. Or you can just go get bottles from the shop and leave.

You can find bottles, but you better be at the spot shortly after they are delivered. I also, do not know the spots, but if you look in this forum, you should get answers.

Ron Mexico is available on site, I doubt it sees any distro.
