That's the freshest Pliny I've bought in Denver so far, usually it's pushing a month (which is always puzzling).

Really? It's almost always within the 10-16 day range where I buy it around town.

I usually buy it at Argonaut that Friday they receive it. And it's always around the 25-30 day range.

Hey, who are you calling unwashed???? LOL. I'll be one of the masses but I won't be looking for Pliney. While the others are search for a year round IPA, I'll be buying up all your special CO brewery limited releases.

    Nope, that's pub draft only.

Even in SoCal the distribution is highly irregular for sours. Pliny gets delivered usually about every 10 days. Bling Pig less often, and sours whenever they show up.

BTW, what I do is I have my favorite, local bottle shops "liked" on Facebook, so I know when beers I want show up. Also, get to know the beer buyers/owners, and they'll give you a rough estimate of when they expect various RR beers.

Sorry, I drank them all. I left you some Tommyknocker and a few Fat Tires.

Too bad, but thanks for the heads up. Saves me a trip today, I think.

My understanding is that most places sold out within just a few minutes last week.

Colorado Liquor Mart put them on sale @ 5:00PM last week and sold out by 5:03 when I arrived. Some of the smaller places might still have it available. Pliny seems to sell quicker than the sours for some reason.

I would suggest checking out RR website to see where it's distributed and give places a call.

I'm a bit late to the party, but WOB Cherry Creek had some Consecration, Lil Opal and La Folie on tap tonight, along with some dope IIPAs (Le Freak, Port Anniversary, Lagunitas Nighttime) and a bunch of other good stuff. Don't sleep on WOB.

Mr. B's also posted that Pliny was in yesterday, so assuming other stores will be getting it today or tomorrow.

World of Beer in Cherry Creek occasionally pulls some crazy stuff and they always have at least a few gems. As much as I'd love to put them in a category with Old Chicago or the Yardhouse, they're far beyond that.

The 1 bottle limit was not enforced. Cleaned them out.

Stocking up the cellar, I see. How long will you be aging them for? :-)
