Anyone who's coming to Philly should go to City Tap House to get it (if they have it again this year). It was a great experience. Didn't wait in line, sat down at 3:30pm, had dinner/a few drinks, got a Younger at 5pm. $10 entry. Super good time!

Pizza Joint up in the Highlands?

 

we're going on a wednesday a few days after it's been out to hopefully divert some of the crowd... my buddy was first in a line that was easily a mile long last year and they got there at 6 in the morning... it was crazy.

 

Will be out in San Diego and LA next Thursday through Sunday. Anyone have an idea if any bars will be tapping this in that time frame? Or does it usually show later in February?

 

Any brahs in Colorado hear anything?

 

I spoke with somebody from Oskar Blues HMLS and they said they will be getting it and the tapping would probably be 2/22.

 

Cheeky Monk just said sometime in Feb. Vague.

 

Toronado will probably be tapping two kegs at some point during the week of 2/10-2/16. They usually tap one the day they get them and another on Sunday. I saw the dates listed somewhere, but they are gone now.

I would expect Hamilton's, Toronado, O'Brien's, Downtown Johnny Brown's to all announce some sort of event. Blind Lady does a ticketed charity event, but they seem to wait until late Feb or early March.

 

Im leaving Thursday at 6am to drive down there and wait in line. Feel like I have to do it once, and Ive never had it, so it seems appropriate.

 

So am I...You really think that early as far as getting in line? Brutal.

That's last year, everything this year seems to be a week earlier. You can count on most of those places getting kegs again this year.
