I had this on tap yesterday and didn't care too much for it. I liked Happy Hop and of course Pliny better. I have not heard anything about them bottling it though.

    !!!!!!

That is my reaction. I have a growler of this in my fridge right now, it's a great beer. I spoke briefly with Vinnie during beer week and specifically asked about it, I didn't get the impression that it was something they could do year-round, let alone bottle. But there's the label, so I guess they can. I'm very excited, because I love this beer. Also excited for a "hop grower's tribute series".

I knew you'd be all over this one Stu! Pretty excited to see some new bottles coming out of RR and I'm loving the new graphic treatment too.

I hope this beer is easier to get in Sac than pliny.

This should really be sold in 6-pack format.

Is there a reason everyone is assuming distro for this? Could be brewery only like Great Beer/Great Wine. I'm not getting my hopes up until it hits a local shelf.

The fact that there's a label design implies bottling plans, but I suppose someone at RR this weekend could just tap Vinnie on the shoulder and ask him...

This is a fantastic beer. (Which is why, in my usual tradition, I never bothered to review it.) I hope they make it a rotating release.

I tried this beer for the first time the day it was put up on the board there. I tried to submit it here but needed a few more reviews to do so. In my review I emphasized that it really needed to be bottled because it was so good! My wish came true.

Bottles of Row 2, Hill 56 are apparently now on sale at the brewpub as of today - no idea if there's any distro beyond that.

I see this one coming again soon to the RR pub. I had one at Toronado SD back in the spring and thought meh...(perhaps I didn't Let it warm up some) poured it down fast n cold ala Homer Simpson.
A couple weeks later I had a taste from a bottle and said WOW! Where do I get bottles of this? I couldn't find any bottles in SD....Does anyone know of bottling plans for this new batch?
    Thx!

The first bottling for the Row 2 Hill 56 was, I believe, June 26, 2012. Distribution was extremely limited within the Bay Area. Oddly, I purchased mine at City Beer SF one day after the bottling date. I haven't seen it fresh on any store shelves since. K&L Wine had some to sell on 7/27 - I bought my 3 bottle limit via website - I thought it might be fresh but as it turned out, it was from the original 6/26 batch.
