Are there any other breweries within an hour drive that I should check out if I happen to be in Santa Rosa?
Marin Brewing Co Often overlooked and right off the freeway. No more than 15 mins. north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Third Street Aleworks is the next street over. They don't have much on tap right now, but if Bombay Rouge or Puddle Jumper are on then it's a must.
moylans, marin, lagunitas, iron springs (even if i am the only one that seems to like em on this forum).
I found BR to be boring, but Lagunitas has a real cool vibe. Everyone brings their dogs, and there's always live music.
If you're in Santa Rosa walk less than two blocks down the street and grab a Moonlight beer on tap at Flavor Bistro.
you know, i have to admit i read BR as a different place at first, and cried a little. but then realized we were talking north bay. further tears averted! OP said within an hour of Russian River right? East Bay is within an hour! Triple Rock brewing is within the range then.
