RussRiv & Pliny Elder availability?

As for me, here in the Sacramento area the stores I go to usually get Pliny every 3 or 4 weeks and its usually gone that same day with about a two bottle limit per person. Then again the brewery is a drive away and they always have it there.

 

In socal we get it once a month, maybe twice if lucky. Most of the time its a 1 bottle limit

 

Does the LA area have the ation' variations around or are they released only certain times a year and then gone right away?

 

You have to have the right timing. Seems to hit Tues, Wed and Fri in SoCal and gone the same day with 1-2 bottle limits. You'll never see it on the weekend. Setting up a trade is easier. Check Taphunter if you just want a pour vs taking some back to MA.

yeah, you're really looking at only one or two deliveries every month and you got to be at the right place at the right time.

We get the other ations, but it just depends on the season on when they're around.

How available in the LA area? I have someone out there to help me but I wasn't sure how much traveling/digging they will have to do.

 

It's around from time to time, but not at every store on a weekly basis.

 

I have given up hunting for it. Finidng any bottles is just the luck of being in the right place at the right time.

 

Is there a bottle limit at the brewery?

 

Was down to six for a while, but I believe it's back up to twelve now.
