most of the places that i know of that get it update their FB page when it comes in. seems to come in almost every week, but sometimes it skips a week or so.
i usually only buy it these days to give to someone or stoke someone out in a trade.

 

The taproom I work at has received 2 or 3 cases of Pliney the last year. A case of 24 lasts about 3 hours, and we generally won't put it on social media - people do that themselves. We're in the Sac area, so about 2 hours away from the source.

When people come in asking for it, I tell them to try some local IPA's/DIPA's or recommend a day trip out to Santa Rosa over the weekend.

 

Yes. I was there a couple days ago and they had a six bottle limit posted.

That said, a lot of people were buying cases (which were available in very snazzy green and red boxes I'd never seen before). In fact, some people seemed to be buying more than one case. I would think there's probably more than six bottles in those cases--they look like they'd hold eight at least--but I didn't buy one to find out. Went home with a growler of Row 2 and 4 pte's.
