Rustic or Farmhouse Lager??

    Brew under way.

    Best Pilz
    20% Best Malted Rye
    10% Best Malted Spelt
    2% Acidulated

    113/15 —> 145/45 —> Decoction —> 162/20

    Gonna boil the decoction for a little longer some more color pickup.

    Wilamette 60/40/20
    40ish IBUs

    German Lager X

    1oz light toast Hungarian oak in Primary

    Krausen or Spund depending on timing

    Hopefully if tastes good in two months

    605 TDS
    240 Alkalinity
    257 Hardness

    Last time I had it tested

    Actually drinking it last night for the first time.. however due to unforeseen circumstances I didn’t end up fermenting it with oak in primary nor did I bottle condition any with Brett... the next one I will for sure.... I hope..

    Beer came out rather good. I’m going to change the hops for next time but rather happy with how the first attempt turned out.
