I know that this is probably rhetorical, but if you do -- let us (me) know what you think.

I wasn't able to get in that direction over the weekend, but I'm hoping this is a new destination worth the drive.

My brother-in-law stopped by there Saturday, but there was a line to get in, it is a very small place. As he was wating outside someone walked out with a growler and notified my brother-in-law there were no growlers left to purchase the beer. He left without making in the place. But if anyone stops in and can provide some input it would be much appreciated.

I've been in a couple times now.

The beers are, for the most part, very sweet, which isn't really to my taste.

They do have a stout on tap right now, though, that isn't as sweet, and is quite good. I highly recommend trying that. They're also currently barrel-aging a barleywine that might be ready at some point in February.

I was there once when it first opened. I didn't particularly care for either of the beers I had. I think one was an amber ale and one was a farmhouse ale. I've heard reviews around the city since then which have been pretty good. Kenosha also has Public Craft Brewing which is a few streets south of Rustic Road. They fill growlers mostly and have very limited hours but I have heard nothing but rave reviews for what they have brewed. I heard they are currently working on an Old Ale which will be aged in brandy barrels.

Have been to both Rustic Road and Public Craft.

I had St George's Folly, Hazelnut Harvest, and Southport Wheat. The Hazelnut was the best.

At Public Craft I had a K-Town Brown (ale) and took a growler to go. Good beer and cool atmosphere at both taprooms.
