I'd love to find one when I visit in June. Crossing my fingers for some perfect timing.

Couldn't find it last year at the brewery, in Seattle, or western Western WA. But I'm sure it'll be on the shelves in CA and CO. ISO?

Hhc was amazing this year. I wouldn't change a thing.

    So says a man who
    went. But others less lucky
    might just disagree.

(But really, glad you, and presumably everyone else, had such a grand time. It is not the least bit surprising to hear that Fremont orchestrated the whole event so masterfully...)

I have never seen or had it but want it so bad... I cant bring myself to go to a Fremont release anymore just on the fact you seem to need to line up and hour or two before the doors open.

My girlfriend however just so happened to go into Fremont with her friend last year and randomly ordered rusty nail not knowing what it was...

Definitely agree! Matt, Carrie and everyone at Fremont did an awesome job, thanks again Matt! The food planning and execution was excellent this year, the cellar sale change was great. I was a bit nervous going solo but met many cool people and had a great night. Cheers!

Was even cool seeing a Structures growler sitting there in one of the vertical tasting rooms.

Any chance this will make it to Boise, or will Crooked Fences Rusty Nail sort of block that?

Father's Day is WA Brewer's Festival. But at least it's not during a Sounder home game like HHC, Rye Fest, Flock Party, Bottleworks Anniversary, etc.

So much to do, so little time.

Probably not, according to this 2017 release calendar:

But fret not: chances are that finding a bottle, if that's what you're really after, is going to be easier in Eastern WA anyway. Sometimes it's quite advantageous to live on the calmer and more sparsely populated Dry Side. It's becoming a real zoo over here in Wetworld.

Presumably, you're referring to RnR, on the 18th, which is a Sunday. Fremont, to the best of my knowledge, has never conducted a special release on a Sunday, nor has any other local brewery; nor are they or anyone else likely to. For complicated, vestigial cultural reasons, that day tends to be sacred here in Amerika, and typically reserved, by convention, for certain kinds of activities: namely, church, family, watching sports, and drinking at home.

The official UBG Rusty release, so long as we're in the business of speculating upon rumor, out of our tooshes, and reading the tea leaves, should be on that Saturday, or one thereabouts. In any case, the Almighty Tweet will be issued soon enough, and give people plenty of notice to plan their attendance en masse (or, alternatively, run for the hills). Patience is a virtue. Last year, in the lead-up, we got all bent out of shape and chomped at the bit. That didn't help anyone, IIRC...Between a good number of bottles at the brewery and in distribution, and no shortage of kegs spread far and wide, we should all have our chance, once again, at a taste. Can't ask for more than that...

(Good luck with your race, BTW. I'm a runner, too, or used to be, before my body failed me. Now, I just have the privilege of cheering on others. I'd be happy to slip you a beer at a water stop, if you think it'd help. You need only tell me the mile...)

    Can't see how a smile
    Could count as a syllable
    If it makes no sound.
