The "Ignore" function works splendidly. Really, it does. Trolls crave attention as much as they crave rare beer. You can cut off their supply of one of those things.

Yeah, I ignored him months ago and it's made this forum 30% better. I'm sometimes confused when people get upset but if we all ignore him the world will be a better place.

Put my bottles up for aging. Much like the WootStout3.0, I believe this beer will go to an even higher level after aging for a year.

Haven't tried this year's version, but that's been the case with past versions. While very good initially, some short term aging does wonders for this beer. I was fortunate enough to try it on tap after 5 or 6 months, and then at 8 or 9 months. It was better and better, each time I tried it.

I'm here now and there are still bottles. Looks like they'll last a couple hours.

Well autocorrect changed Freshies to freebies. I'm coming into Seattle to visit my family and AM going to visit Fremont which is a FAMILY business including holy mountain, cloudburst, etc. Nice to know the rare beer hoards aren't just in the Midwest. Over here we call them truck chasers or a$$wipes

The most I ever buy of big releases is two, most of the time just one. I don't understand the need for that many bottles.

With the big Fremont releases and Abyss, I'll buy two for near-future consumption and then pick one up whenever I see them in the wild for cellaring. Anything else, I buy one and if I think it'll age well I might buy another for the future.

Share with friends from out of state that don't have access to this delicious beer.

The only reason I gave this post a "Like", is that I hope it highlights the hypocrisy.

"There's beer left because everybody didn't bring 4 mules. Therefore, I was too early, and brought too many mules."

    Carry on Brah, carry on.

Is Rusty Nail on tap at the UBG right now? I'm arriving in town today for one night only & was hoping to at least try it on draft. The Fremont website doesn't list it in the UBG currently on draft section so I wanted to double check. thx

Nope, I think the kegs are dry. But they are pretty good about updating their tap list on their website so you may want to double check before you go.

Don't think it doesn't go unnoticed. This type of customer-centered thinking is one of the many reasons I believe your current level of success will be sustained for many years to come. Keep doing what you're doing ... making fantastic beer, taking care of your folks, and taking care of us folks.

Likewise. As was also mentioned, I like to age a bottle or two as well, as I do think this beer improves a bit with some aging.

Not sure I would need 10 bottles, but I can see where it might be nice to grab 3 or 4 if I see them (which admittedly, isn't going to be very likely).
