    It's been on draft before.

I have only had it once, but I prefer it to regular Pentagram. The rye barrels add an extra layer of toastiness that is wonderful with the dark fruit flavors. It's still not comparable to other Surly rye barrel-aged beers.

Had this at Rare Beer Fest. Meh. Regular Pentagram is better IMO.

I've had this at a couple of festivals & IMHO it kicks the crap out of regular Pentagram, which is already tasty (if hopelessly overpriced). I'll buy one to see if it lives up to my booze-addled memories, but probably only one if it hits in the $20 a bottle range.

I have had several full glasses of this on draft and it is excellent, though I was a lot more excited about $6 glasses than I will be about $25+ bottles

I will try it on tap if I get the chance, but won't spend $25 on this.

I'm a little scared to ask what the price point would be . . . :flushed:

I would assume it would be at a similar price as BA darkness, $25.

Regular Pentagram is sitting at the Hy-Vee's at $22.99 collecting dust.

I wasnt going to seek this out but today i found one bottle for 20.99 and then went to another store that only charged me $11.49! I couldnt pass up the second bottle for $12.35 after taxes crazy incorrect pricing I am sure.

And how does that address someone wondering about taste?

It's not, unless you like whiskey finished vinegar

I seem to be much more sensitive to acetic acid than most people though
