Really just getting into craft beer, but have truly enjoyed the few rye IPAs/pale ales (Bell's Smitten and Jackie O's Hop Ryot) that I have had. Was wondering, what are some of the better/recommended rye beers that are available year round in Ohio (mostly NW OH)?
It's not listed on the release schedule they put out for 2016. Agree. It's one of the best IPAs out there, let alone a Rye IPA. Everyone needs to send an e-mail telling GL to brew it again.
Little disappointed about rye of the tiger as well, was there a post about this, or just removed from the calendar? I thought I saw it when they initially released the 2016 calendar.
Great lakes posted they will be having rye of the tiger on tap only sometime this spring: https://twitter.com/GLBC_Cleveland/status/717430236531523584
Moeller Brew Barn Wally Post Red is a fantastic red rye ale (not IPA) if you are ever in their footprint.
