Love Sixpoint's Righteous Ale. Tastes different from the others. Must be the yeast strain that Sixpoint uses.

Ruthless made me crave a Corned beef on rye . I thought it was real good.

Boulevard Rye-on-Rye is really good and an honorable mention to He'Brew Lenny's

A 4th or 5th or whatever it's up to now for Hop Rod Rye...one of my favorite IPA's, rye or not. So damn good...

Damn, I forgot about Lenny's too! It's brewed 10 minutes from my house in Saratoga, NY! That has been my favorite thus far! Wish I had access to Founders.

Cane & Ebel from Two Brothers -- accept no substitutes. Though Founders Red's Rye IPA and Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye are almost as good.

I've had founders and ruthless. I was much more of a fan of Ruthless. I've also had hop rod rye. Wasn't to big on that.

Ruthless is good, I liked ORyely when I had it, but have never made an effort to go back to it. Laughing Dog Rocket Rye is great too. The Boulevard Rye on Rye is fantastic, but is more of a whiskey barrel Barleywine than a rye IPA to me.

    For me it's:

    Bear Republic Hop Rod
    Two brothers Cane and Ebel
    Founders Red's Rye PA

    In that order...

Don't worry, you've got a box from Michigan coming your way real soon, I'm just waiting on the Shorts Anniversary Party to polish off this box. I'll be sure to stick a Red's Rye in there too.

Was going to say this. DIPA Rye beer, 9% ABV, Pint cans and I got 4 for $7.99. Good deal. I didn't find the hops all that strong, but it was a nice, strong rye beer overall.

Agreed- using rye in an IPA is a refreshing take on the style. Some of my favorite examples have been...

    Burnside Meridian Rye
    Laughing Dog Rocket Dog
    Hop Rod Rye
    Bittersweet Lenny's

Nelson, Terrapin Rye Squared, and SN Ruthless Rye were ok (wish I would've enjoyed Nelson more though). As far as dislikes go, the only one I can think of is Lucky Lab's Quality Rye.

I really look forward to trying Founders Red's Rye one of these days...

I have had about half dozen Rye beers and most of them did not hit the mark with me. First time I cracked open Sixpoint's Righteous Ale was one of those ah ha moments. Great beer.
