SA Pumpkinator Release

They're on display at check out counter #2 and still lots to go around in Austin. Seems like most shops I called today received a few cases and enforcing 1 bottle limit.

Sunrise Mini Mart sold about half their stock as of noon.
Rosedale Market has 3 full cases in their back cooler.
Spec's Brodie has a bit left.
Fuk the Flagstore and their grossly overpriced beer.
HEB Brodie gets theirs tomorrow.

 

It's funny... spec's midtown had no limit...

I just grabbed 4 bottles at a kroger in the middle of nowhere that gets 0 beer traffic and I had to make 2 trips in cause they had a "2 bottle limit"... lol...

While I love this beer... I don't need more than 4... the craigslist/trading forums are literally going to get hit with a tidal wave of this stuff.... lol...

 

I want 6, which is going to be tough if Austin places are limit 1. And unfortunately today there's no way I could get down south. Hopefully Brodie and some more "northerly" spots get it in tomorrow

Otherwise I'll have to buy some from Craigslist (NEVER going to happen! )

Get a connection in Louisiana, I was just there I was thinking of getting some but since it was just sitting on the shelves I didn't think it would be this scarce in Texas. I did open one though, it's definitely good.

 

So when there's no limit it's a mad house and when there's a 1 or 2 bottle limit (which helps spread it around), it's annoying...hmmm.

Good suggestion for those who need a fix.

Rosedale Market gave me the option of buying more than one bottle, but I didn't as the limit since I was fine with one. Although they are charging $1 more than the retail price.

 

Its annoying because I live in Round Rock, and can't justify a 30+ mile drive each way for 1 bottle. Thats my issue, anyway

 

Texas hoarding has officially jumped the shark. This is ridiculous. Imagine when BCBS hits distro. It'll be blood in the streets.

Spec's Kingwood now has some. $9.46 a bottle. Limit 2.
Randall's burned me. It wasn't for sale because it wasn't in the system and they wouldn't sell me the 3 I was promised. Said limit 1 and still couldn't sell it.

 

And I really wanted to contact the seller.

Central Market on Lovers has it already, also has FBS. One bottle of Pumpkinator limit (for now, they said), One four pack of FBS limit. Whole Foods Park Lane (and probably all the other local Whole Foods too) is getting both of those tomorrow with the same limit. Specs and Total Wine are both getting them on Wednesday. Lonestar Beverages also said they're getting Pumpkinator on Wednesday, no word on what they're doing with FBS but I'd imagine they're getting it this week too.

 

Best part was when he said it would be delivered in a "specialized protective transport" What hte fuck has happened to people?

 

has anyone tried the 2013 pumpkinator? Is it better than the dumpsterfire that was the 2012 bottling?

 

its spicy, like pumpking nose, but drinks pretty well.
