Anyone know when this will hit SA?

 

I almost grabbed a couple of those. I settled for the Double Jack which I am now drinking. You should have gone across the street where they had probably 40 bottles on the counter and 7 cases on the floor at customer service. This was before noon however so who knows.

 

Yep the HEB across the way was 2 bottle limit and had a good amount and no one in line to buy any. I walked right up to the counter and was out in less than 2 minutes..

 

Just want to say Im drinking one right now and it is excellent. Only had the 2012 before and it was right as I was getting into craft so my palate probably wasn't very good but I am enjoying this much more. If anyone has some extra 11's and 12's I would love to get a couple of each to see how it changes.

Grabbed 4 Pumpkinator today. Will probably get a few more but only 2 or 3. Not reaching for the 8 case shenanigans....

 

I'm out of town but my mom got a few bottles for me throughout Friendswood. I think the Kroger on 528, the Specs and Shell Station. All around 3ish

Makes it totally worth having to put up with her calling me randomly to ask if <insert beer> is good or if it's one of those "fake craft beers that Coors makes"

 

Hall's the only place with a 1 bottle limit.

 

well shit, i did go in there, but having not ever bought any special release beers there didn't even go by the customer service desk. just buzzed through the bomber/wine/beer sections while picking up some groceries.

the DJ four packs were fresh and tempting, but i just haven't been into ipas at all recently.

and am i totally misremembering, or were the brooklyn 4 packs more like $12/4 last year?

 

I don't understand this. Lonestar doesn't get their shipment until Wednesday and will likely limit to one per customer too.. specs? Plenty of Warrior and Pumpking tho... balls!

 

I did score some Founders Breakfast tho..

The price hasn't changed much, if at all, from last year. They're on sale right now at Spec's since Brooklyn is their brewery of the month.

 

Luckily the Kroger by my house got another 5 cases this year. Pretty much all gone now but I managed to get 4.

I checked in on the Specs in Keller (FW area) and the beer feller said they had two cases and it was depleted immediately this morning. I haven't seen/heard much else about the DFW area except several of the bars are tapping it on draft and/or cask tonight or tomorrow.

 

I might look for a bottle tomorrow, Still have access to a lot of '12

 

My local HEB in SA had some. It doesn't get here until tomorrow though. Hoping they have it early in the morning. *fingers crossed*

 

Did anyone who got multiple bottles notice a vast difference of varying fill lines. Of the 4 I got, every single one had a different fill line, and I'm not talking by a small margin...also one of the bottle caps was capped crooked and leaked beer in my car. Just checking if this was an isolated incident.

 

I picked up 2 this afternoon and one of mine isn't properly sealed. They sat at an angle in my passenger seat on the way home and when I removed them out of the bag, one had a little moisture around the neck. I grabbed the cap and slightly twisted it clockwise and noticed that it was not tightly sealed, though the cap is on straight. The other bottle is fine though.

 

Establish a relationship and you can get HT all the time. People often lose sight of whats important.

 

To yous guys trying to trade Pumpkinator for rare beers, quit being assholes.
