same with mine, is the cap is too small or the bottle lips are slightly too large?

I'm sorry, I personally thought this was kind of a big issue and that you'd have more than one person on this since you were quick to point out an email address to us. I do think it's a little ridiculous that I have to take 2 trips for one of your defective beers, and that I have to explain a store that is selling your beer.. why I need it exchanged. It has been about a week since this beer has been on the shelves (I was in Louisiana this weekend) and if you already know about this problem.. so should your customers. It might be just me, but I've yet to see anything from you guys about this issue other than you posting here.. please correct me if I'm wrong.

Some people shouldn't have to wait a day or more to get the beer they already paid for.

Pumpkinator was released yesterday, 10/14. We started hearing issues about it today. We're handling the issue and trying to isolate it.

The store replaced your bottle and you're still bitching? Jesus Christ...

Aaron is a brewer. He doesn't have to participate on this forum and it's not his job to respond to email complaints. Your expectations aren't entirely unreasonable but some of your facts are wrong and you have no idea how big or small of an issue this is. Have a little patience. I'm sure Saint Arnold is working it out.

So you guys don't know your beer was available in Louisiana before the 14th?

You're right the store did replace the bottle.. I thanked them for it. I wasn't bitching about it, not really my intention.. but when Aaron decided to point out that I didn't wait long enough for a response on a bottle I already paid for, I have to let him know why I don't agree with that.

So what if it was? Are you sure it was 2013? If so, maybe it was only a few cases and none of the bottles were affected. It still doesn't change the fact that the issue wasn't reported until today.

It was 2013, and again..that was a legit question, no sarcasm.. since he was correcting me about it.

What time zone do you live in? Aaron posted the email address at 2:41pm. I would imagine the executive assistant that answers those emails (among other duties) works until 5pm. If potentially hundreds of emails come in a day, you can't reasonably expect to hear a response until at least tomorrow. Just because Aaron is posting on here after midnight doesn't mean everybody is working at Saint Arnold around the clock to make sure you get a reply to a freaking email.

lol, that's the thing.. I'm pretty chill.

I didn't like his response, tbh.. I would have been perfectly fine had he not told me I didn't wait long enough for them to fix the problem. I just went out of my way to get what I should have gotten the first time, a simple apology and I would have been content.

I understand I'm being a little harsh on a person that probably isn't responsible for the issue, but at the end of the day he does represent Saint Arnold, and he should expect this sort of backlash and honestly I'm surprised there isn't more. (hoarders)

You needed more hugs before you reached drinking age.

Next time I guess Aaron just shouldn't try to help out.
Aaron just keep brewing y'all's awesome beer and leave it to that I guess. I thought you were very helpful.

From my understanding, some distributors get certain beers before the advertised release date so it can be on the trucks and delivered to specific accounts on that date. They are told NOT to release the beer until said date but that doesn't mean thats what happens. So, yes, its entirely possible St A's didn't know the beer was available in LA because it shouldn't have been released before Monday.

This doesn't just happen with St A's, it actually happens more often then you think with several other breweries. Unfortunately, there is little anyone can do about it.

We are sorry that you have had so much trouble with this. I assure you, nobody is more annoyed by this problem than we are. We make every attempt to brew and sell the best beer in Texas (and Louisiana) and apparently there was a hiccup somewhere along the way this time.

I'm sorry you haven't received a timely enough response from our office folks, but it's important that we figure out exactly what happened and when (since we did 3 separate bottling runs of this, the number series on the neck is very important for us), so that we can then figure out an appropriate response/action.

You're patience is appreciated. We are working to make sure this doesn't happen again.

    Stephen
