SA Pumpkinator Release

Rosedale is probably sold out by now but it doesn't hurt to check. I bought one of the last 3 or 4 bottles last night. The owner/worker said the same thing to my gf and me, some d-bag wanted to buy it all, so he put limits on it *clap*

I hear they are doing a barrel aged version in the tap room only. Any confirmation on that rumor?

 

Response received from SA concerning issue. Really awesome that they apologetic and willing to help resolve the issue. My hat goes off to you SA and the employees that bust their butt every day for us to enjoy their beer.

Point being, email does work with a little patience.

where did you hear that from?

 

A volunteer at the brewery. He hasn't been wrong with the things he's told me before. I was able to get a special canned, no label, 6-pack of Hop Delusion.

I think you're mixing up breweries so now I want to know what Karbach is doing barrel only at the brewery

Just cracked one of mine open that had a tilted cap. Earlier in the day I shook it and nothing came out the cap but it did foam up a lot. I figured if I am going to drink any of them now it will be the ones that are suspect. It's flat but oh well...it still tastes good.

I forgot to mention the fill was almost to the bottom of the neck and there was some crystallization around the rim of the bottle.

Hoping to do some Pumpkinator verticals. We now have 4 vintages at this point. Also there will be rum barrel aged P'nator soon #TBS39

 

I had the same exact issue tonight. I have a couple with slightly tilted caps, but no leaks. Out of curiosity I popped one and sure enough there was crystallization on the rim. Doesn't give me confidence the ones I want to cellar will last, but what do you do? Took a look and to me the cap is what looks to be the issue. At least on mine the seal looks warped.

 

Yeah, my only worry with these is them sitting in my cellar, oxidizing and being terrible in a year. Of the 5 I got this one had the most crooked cap so I am hopeful for the rest.
