Hmm I am going to be in Shasta county on Monday, wonder if my wife would understand that I really needed to go to Sacramento for important mosaic business and can't make it home until Tuesday night?

If you go definitely get Galactus too, it's a Galaxy hazebro, and one of my overall favorites of theirs. These must be some of Kyle's last efforts.

I don't generally like the hazies but galaxy seems to be a hop.that really shines amidst the murk.
I must confess, I find NGs use of "expressive" ale yeast and "neutral' ale yeast annoying. Obviously you learn the system fast enough but why the hell they gotta make it hard?

I believe the 'expressive' strain is Sacch Trois.

NG is definitely an IPA place, and probs 2/3 are hazies, it's sort of Kyle's thing. Bike Dog does a lot of IPAs but their IPA game has been pretty weak, so maybe they want to bring some of that magic over.

As I mentioned earlier, NG has a decent size brewing team now. They have expanded the tanks and brewing system as well in the last year at the OG location. This is not some last hurrah when Kyle leaves. They have people in place to keep the current recipes/beers going with the expanded distro.

Thanks for the update, that's good to hear. I hope they get Peanut Butter Lovers and King Size Satisfies made and selling soon. I'd buy enough to last the rest of the year.

NG had an IG Story Yesterday.... It involved a few thousand TWIX Candy Bars being unwrapped and readied.... I am sure it involves a Stout.

Hmm.......objectively, I'd rather have the Reece's PB or the Snickers, but this will have to suffice. I thought they killed it with both of those and didn't skimp one bit on the adjunct intensity.

Would anyone local to Sacramento (Land Park) be interested in splitting a shipment from Pure Project in San Diego? Cost would come to about $6.50/beer.

Had one last can of this. Still good. Maybe my favorite of the local Sacramento Oktoberfest beers.

It has probably been over a year since I have been to the Track 7 Brewery in Sac/Natomas. Went down on Saturday for the can release.

Make It Rain-Bow-Sherbet - Kettle Sour.

Orange, Raspberry and Pineapple. They nailed that melty rainbow sherbet taste. Not to sour.

Just to add one more thing in the Sacramento Area thread with everything closing up in Placer and Sac County....

Final Gravity Roseville has a pretty impressive Can n Bottle inventory right now to go. They do singles cans also. Even just got the new Slice Stout in.

Also no surprises, as they list can $ prices on website.

Yeah, I’m just starting to think ahead. Don’t want to jump on a shipment unless I know I can split it.
