Now the question is; which local and fantastic beers must you try.

Last time I went there on a Sunday, I got a late start, arrived there at about 12:30 and waited 90 minutes. And that was a couple months ago, with no football on TV.

So, yeah, sorry to say that my description is accurate. But if you really want to go, it wouldn't be too bad of a trip: leave at 9, hit RR 11ish, hit Lagunitas on the way back, stop in at Berryessa and/or Bike Dog or Track 7 late afternoon if you have the stamina. It's doable, for sure. But like I said above, I'd be tempted just to take it easy and stay local.

Yeah, I won't even be leaving Seattle until Sunday. To leave Sacramento at 9 am, I'd have to get up between 5-6 am to catch a 7:20 am flight out of Seattle. I'm gonna just say that RR (or any brewery) is not worth getting up at 5 am.

As has been stated above, there are so many very good places in and around Sacramento, why spend precious time driving when you could be sampling great beer?

    My two-cents anyway.

Local beer magazine Hops To Table made this map: http://www.hopstotable.com/sacbeermap/

It's pretty accurate. Come to Final Gravity and we'll share some beer, waste your day away there! I'd even drive up to Mraz, love the beer there :grinning:

I think that map is slightly lacking. I doesn't have Bike Dog or the updated location of Knee Deep in Auburn.

With around 120 locations on the map, I would have to agree with myself that it's pretty accurate - didn't say it was completely accurate :sunglasses:.

Missing other locations too, but the good ones have already been mentioned in the thread. Didn't want to keep repeating what others have already said.

I would absolutely hit Track 7.. Then Knee Deep and Final Gravity. Those are the 3 I would absolutely go to, fill in your day with others based on convenience. T7 and Knee Deep both brew fantastic beer

Oh, Auburn Alehouse is worth mention

Honestly, you could kill a lot of time in Placer County (North Eastern-ish of Sacramento). There's ol' Republic in Nevada City, awesome German and English style beers, then Little Belgium in Auburn which is right down the road from Auburn Alehouse, then Loomis Basin Brewing, then Final Gravity in Roseville.
