Sad news - Base Camp Brewing

    I had never heard of this brewery in Almonte, Ontario before, but read on Canadian Beer News that the young owner/brewer passed away unexpectedly. I thought I’d share it here. There is a go fund me page for his wife and three children (7,5, and 2 years old). Friends will be opening the shop to help sell off their inventory. Very sad.

    Damn. Looks like they managed to open and sell off all packaged inventory to help support. So tragic, let alone to an up and coming business in the industry. Awful news.
