Saint Arnold BB6

Anyone know where it's still available in Austin? I have 1-5 and need a couple 6's. Heading to San Diego for the weekend and wanted to take a full vertical for a bottle share.

Had my first BB beers last night. Missed out on the 6, but 4 & 5 were very good IMO.

For those wondering, FW in Fort worth has a few more of the 4 & 5 as of last night.

 

I thought this was supposed to be hard to find?

Since no one ever actually talks about beer here any more, but just talks about their hauls and where to hoard stuff, I figured I'd get on the bandwagon.

Was the distro on BB6 less... or demand more? I was drinking BB3 at an establishment several months after release but even they blew through their BB6 in days (that I missed because of a business trip). Heck even BB4 and BB5 lasted at least a month. Seriously, anyone know if it's still available anywhere in Austin? Heading to San Diego and a buddy is looking for a couple of bottles.

 

I think it is long gone in Austin. I wouldn't be surprised if bars held on to a lot of cases for verticals at some later point.

 

Probably the demand being higher since it was Pumpkinator.

 

Just putting it out there: we're bringing things out of our cellar for our 1st Anniversary party on Friday starting at 6pm. We'll have a very limited quantity of BB#3, BB#4, BB#5, and BB#6 in our bottle shop.

Also, to answer a previous question: demand was HUGE for BB#6, supply was not. We intentionally didn't put it out for a few days so that people could get a chance even if they didn't skip work on a Monday.

Protip: for limited releases, we won't tell you anything concrete on the phone, and our website is usually woefully out of date. Sorry about that.

 

Hey Everyone. Probably late to the party, but do y'all know of any place in Dallas that would still have some BB6? I do not need it to go. I will be around that Torches (sp?) Tacos place and that is all I know.

Not necessarily to revive an old thread, but I just saw a post in a Facebook beer group of BB6 on the shelves of a store in Colorado, being sold for $5 a bottle.

How exactly could this beer end up on store shelves in CO when it doesnt make it to store shelves here? My understanding was that this beer was for bars/restaurants only, and TX only.

there were a few places i know of who have don't designate any taps to a particular brewery and they get all the special releases...
