They do sure ask a high price for it being a dirt lot.

I thought we already decided that the dirt was the finest imported sands from the Sahara?

Maybe its their way of "aging" it for a later tasting, so they can charge the $20+ they were asking beforr

I would disagree, because I got 2 of those bottles at said store... and I am a Houston transplant... and you have no idea how happy I am to get these bottles... and you should know that the store that got these bottles sold out of it's case in less than 3 hours...

Weird, though...their prices are so wonky...case in point, they had Sucaba for $18...

Damn! Just came back from NOLA, had a bottle at Avenue for about $11 I think, did not see it at any to-go store I went to.

Par for the course with SA. Their beers have always been more expensive in Houston than elsewhere. Business as usual as their footprint expands.

Anyone know of any bars in Houston that might have some bottles left?

I have been locked in my house being anti-social for the last 6 weeks as I prepare for a professional exam in mid-April... however I have to go out on the town this weekend for a friend's bachelor party and if I can steer my boat in the direction of somewhere that might have a bottle for me to try, I would love to know the coordinates...

    YAR!

heights/washington/montrose... maybe a stretch, but possible rice village... but that's about as far as I will go...

I am a loop snob. It's a great life, the only thing I need to leave for is cheap gas and hockey on Sunday.

Little Woodrow's Heights and Public House Heights have both had prior BBs last a long time, but I can't vouch for BB6 availability. Worth a shot, I would think.

You also might try Local Pour in River Oaks, they usually last quite a while there.

Mongoose vs Cobra had a few of the BBs for a while as well, not sure on current status of BB6 or any others though

    thanks gents...

I live super close to witchcraft, they usually have the BB's for a while after the release date, but where they hosted a BB event this past release, I'm guessing they are probably out... will start there first though...

Check out Lowbrow in the Montrose area. A few good Houston area beers on tap, and a few weeks ago I saw they still had BB. Great place for brunch or lunch during the weekend. Low key, and not very many people know about them, well in the BA world.
