Eh...I got mine last time at the bottle shop at Craft Pride. I just assumed that it was sold in stores.

Ugh didn't see the Draught House tweet til I was already on my way to Ginger Man and DH was out by the time I got there at 6. If anyone could PM/ post if they know of anywhere else in Austin doing bottles to go I'd greatly appreciate it. I just have to get more of this fantastic beer.

It's like a mellowed out Pumpkinator. Spices still dominate, especially on the nose. You can kinda tell there's booze, but any rum character is subtle. The pumpkin isn't present until the beer warms up closer to room temp.

Whatever your opinion on Pumpkinator is, it'll probably be the same with BB6.

So, is it worth 12-13 bucks for 12 oz?

I would absolutely pay it again. I'd honestly buy a case at that price if they let me. The mellowing out of the spices is exactly what Pumpkinator needs IMO, and I definitely got a solid amount of rum character as well, but it was very well integrated.

Hell, I might as well ask as well. Anyone know of where to get it in Austin for to-go purchases? Apparently, my original plan has not panned out.

Craft Pride usually gets the BB releases. Maybe Whip In too. Stanley's will have it eventually as well - probably this weekend.

I never got any BB5, but if anyone has some to spare I'd love to grab a few, just shoot me a PM.

I get a decent amount of the rum character. Sweetness and booze to it. Mellowed spices. Im in between the other two reviews but enjoyed it quite a bit. Overhyped, sure but definitely worth putting some effort into trying. Let it warm though. Straight out of the fridge it was just aged pumpkinator.
