I don't think this is hard to find in Austin, but if anyone is having trouble there are still a couple or so cases at CM Westgate.

I love bread. My suggestion for the next batch...add some butter to richen the mouthfeel and make those yeasty bread notes really pop.

It is good for the style. Had it in tap at FS in SL. Won't look for it again though. Just not my thing.

Well done, Saint Arnold. This a great example of a Belgian strong golden. If I had been given a sample of this blindfolded, I probably wouldn't have guessed it was from an American brewery.

For those out hunting today, Trader Joe's on Greenville had about 20 bombers at 1:00p today. I snagged the last 6er though.

Trader Joes off Hulen had about 4-5 bombers left after I grabbed mine. 7.99 a pop.

Found bombers and sixers at the Lakeline HEB this afternoon. Plenty of both left in the cooler.

The Dr. Pepper Kroger had cases sitting on the floor and two dozen bombers in the cooler when I went Saturday. This one shouldn't be hard to find at all. My earlier post wishing everyone good luck was sarcasm. It's good but there are a lot of good Belgians out there so I'm not worried about stocking up on this one.

Yeah, love it although all the regular places are OUT.

but then again, kroegers and hebs having anythign good is pretty new nowadays.

kind of kills the whole rarity for me, even if i love it, i wont care if it sits on a grocery store shelf for years.

but yet i go out of the way for abyss or WBADPP, and KBS.

i guess, im just a rarity ***** LOL

that said, dr14 is my cup o tea and ill pay for any that you dont want.

DR beer typically sits at Kroger in DFW and fortunately for us, the goose chase isn't as crazy up here.

Because for one, St Arnolds refuses to put pry offs on their 12 oz bottles, and there have been reports of oxidation due to that, and it also doesnt conserve the beer as well if one wants to age it, so theres that (the bombers ARE pry off), and also for the same reason if shipping, Ive had some of the twist offs leaks, particularly from St Arnies, granted most not much, and never affected much, but one did leak really bad, and FedEx actually opened it up removed the bottle and repackaged.

I think all their special releases are pry-off crowns. Even the 12oz bottles.

Maybe I'm wrong, though. It happens very infrequently.
