They send more to the bottle shop tasting rooms (Beer Cellar, Open Bottle, The Beer Temple, etc) than straight up beer bars

Greens Clouds is a banger. Enjoying a draft at the Beer Cellar. I wish I would’ve made it in for cans a few days ago

I was there around noon and there were 3 x 4pks on the shelf, so I would call first if anyone is going to head over and wants to be sure it's still there.

I picked up a 4 pack, I look forward to giving St. E another shot. Hoping for the same experience.

Pretty disappointed in the 2 new ones. Really sweet, not hoppy enough and they kinda look like Chicago River water.

Drinking Hands of Fae and not impressed. No balance, just sweet. There is great potential if they can dial that back.

Just had about 4 oz of Butterfly Wings and...wow, gross. It looked like water from a rusty barrel, smelled decent but odd & tasted like the most cloying soda imaginable...except that it was also completely flat.

One of the most unpleasant beer experiences I've had this year.

Can't wait to try Hands of Fate...only because it can't possibly be as bad as this one.

Opened a Butterfly Wings last night and yea it was dark, smelled alright, tasted sweet and was flat. I didn't finish it. Pretty disappointing.

Part of the problem is these beers typically sell out so fast you don't have time to find out if a beer has these issues before it sells out. Combine that with the fact that it's $16+ a 4 pack. Luckily it doesn't happen often but it shouldn't happen at all.

I had butterfly wings a couple nights ago. Single from Bottles and Cans. Also a bit dark, although most tripled in the NEIPA style seem dark to me. Not very carbonated and fairly sweet - which is what I expect from a triple NEIPA. I dunno. I see what other posters are saying, but I enjoyed my can and thought it was pretty true to the style. <insert shrug emoji>

I cracked my can of Hands of Fate..basically a jr. version of Butterfly Wings. Cloying, sticky & unpleasant...just dialed back a bit.

I thought they had turned a corner when they started up at Begyle but they have regressed lately in my opinion. I'll be skipping their stuff for a while.

Had a Fuzzy Britches last night and was blown away. My first time having it. What an amazing beer! Though this might have been influenced by the Transient drain pour I had right before. None Hotter was pure trash. I'm done with Transient.

This batch of fuzzy is way better than the last, still grumble about their price point but at least the beer is worth the squeeze

Fuzzy Britches and Bogan something one are their two best imo
