Snagged bottle pickup tickets. Going to pick up my Benthic the same day.

Looks like there are still some session tickets available as they are being released from abandoned carts.

Is option 2 (bottles only) sold out?
Didn't see that on the bpt page.

I see it now, all good.

I'm amazed that tickets are still available. I'll be at the late session with @Quilentro

Yeah session tickets were easy. Maybe the 1 ticket thing was prohibitive? Bottles sold out slightly quicker. I’ll assume this won’t be as easy in 2020

    let’s get weird!

edit: for those of you unaware, Tepoztecatl is associated with fertility cults...

Looks like regular Tepoztecatl is going into the 8oz cans. I'm hoping it will see some distro, because there is no way I could make it to the bottle pickup.

Looks like tickets are still available for both sessions. That’s surprising to me.

Maplewood BA release last weekend. Benthic and Rev releases in Friday. Black Friday less than two weeks away. Is it really that surprising?

To me, yeah. Saint Errant has produced some great stuff, and I thought Tepoztecatl was excellent. I think this is their first barrel-aged beer. A couple of bottles, a couple of pours, and access to a few variants... all with no line? Seems like a good time to me. Also, 2 hours is sort of perfect - it’s hard to get away for much longer.

I skipped the Maplewood release - I’ve had most of their non-BA Cuppas, and they’re fine, but I wouldn’t wait in line for them.

I get your point. We are saturated. Oversaturated! I shouldn’t be buying any beer right now, but side project, Rev, HA, old Irving, and saint errant have all suckered me. Shucks.

Ah, the old "cart expired; tickets rereleased" situation -- everything has shown as unavailable a few minutes in yesterday.

Wonder if this will be the new BA Malevolence Caliente!?!? I mean, they're even releasing it the same way Spiteful used to do....

not sure where the negative comments are coming from on Saint Errant. Their DIPA's are fantastic (actually taste like beer and not just a juice/lactose bomb) and their stouts have also been top notch. Scored a ticket to Session A with my buddies. Shocked it did not sell out immediately. Weller Barrels! Love this brewery.

negatory. I don’t even know when they do that stuff. Did get a bunch of sours, though. When’s the next share? Alley behind green lady before tepozfest?

Definitely odd, I didn't bother on Sunday but went over to the website and purchased a ticket just now. Wow. Now I just have to figure out a way to get out there on Saturday :slight_frown:

This is still my #1 ranked stout so works for me!

Yeah, I wasn’t trying to say it’s not a good beer/deal (never had it, so I can’t vouch for that). I just meant that I’m definitely not surprised with all of these releases lately. There’s just too many options for similar quality beers that people don’t have the same amount of FOMO they did a couple years ago. Or at least until enough people on here or crazy Facebook groups continue to say how amazing it is.

I hear what you’re saying but I think in most years line/$$$ fatigue sets in more after Black Friday (Claire’s was a good example last year).
