Hey everybody. Since its warming up out and i love a good belgian beer after i get off work i was thinking of doing another batch of saison. I have done a few in the past and all turned out well but i was wondering if anybody had any personal favorites that they might be willing to share. I wanted to do something different. At the current place im at, im limited to partial mashes but if you have any stellar AG recipes and your willing to share i can convert them with beersmith or something. Thanks in advance!

I've had great success with this recipe. Fairly simple but absolutely delicious, a huge hit.

    Recipe Type: All Grain
    Yeast: Wyeast 3711
    Yeast Starter: 750ml
    Batch Size (Gallons): 6
    Original Gravity: 1.050
    Final Gravity: 1.008
    IBU: 15
    Boiling Time (Minutes): 90
    Color: 7 SRM
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14
    Additional Fermentation: what?
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): I don't secondary
    Tasting Notes: Tastes like awesome.

    Malts and Fermentables

    5lbs. Belgian Pils
    3lbs. American 2-Row
    2lbs. White Wheat Malt
    1lb. Table Sugar
    .25lbs Special B Malt 180L

    Hops

    1 oz. Willamette Hops 5.5%AA 20 minutes
0.5 oz. Nelson Sauvin Hops 12.4% AA 10 minutes
0.5 oz. Nelson Sauvin Hops 12.4% AA 5 minutes
1 oz. Nelson Sauvin Hops 12.4%AA Dry Hop - 7 days

I do a single infusion mash at 146 with a 1.5qt/lb. ratio. I do a 10 minute mash out at 168, followed by a double batch sparge.

I copied it from somewhere but I can't remember the source...

This is another great one I've made:

You could do the same thing and skip the Roeselare blend and just ferment with 3711. Good luck!
