I meant after that one. I apologize for the wording of my title.

Glad to see this one coming back as it's one of my favorites. Although, it looks like Berliner Weiss is going to be dormant again.

I can't wait to try it. I wonder if it is the same recipe they have used before or a new one. Looks like IIPA is coming back as well which should make quite a few people hoppy.

This should be hitting the shelves just as the weather warms. Can't wait. Really glad to see IIPA making a return visit too.

Loved the Imperial Saison, but it hasn't held up as well as most of the offerings from New Glarus. Hoping it is a recreation of that recipe, but if not always excited to try a saison from one of my favorite brewers. Now if we can only get Dan to remake Unplugged Bohemian Lager and Unplugged Berlinner Weiss...

Great news. I didn't get to try the imperial saison so I look forward to this. I, too wish he'd make the berliner weiss again.

I loved the Imperial Saison, but I'm equally excited to see something new - given the fact that half this year's Thumbprint offerings are repeats, and not even repeats of beers I'm especially excited to see back (although I like the Cherry Stout and IIPA just fine). How about some more Iced Barleywine?

When I last spoke with Dan Carey during a Hard Hat tour some time ago, he was concerned regarding the possible illegality of ice concentration on a production level. While everything I have read / heard regarding ice concentration is that it is not a problem in the eyes of the government, but I don't see that one coming back anytime soon unless Dan has gotten new legal advice. Here's to hoping though as that beer was phenomenal, wish I still had some left.

    Cheers!

Yeah, I remember hearing something about the legality of it, too.

But they obviously got away with it last time, and if they brew it again they could just call it by a euphemism like "Winter Barleywine" or something, and if anyone asks questions just say - "We didn't do anything to it on purpose, we just left the barrels sitting outside in the Wisconsin winter..."

Emailed the brewery about the saison and here was the response:
The upcoming Saison will be a completely different animal than the Imperial Saison.
We all enjoyed the Imperial Saison immensely but Dan wants to stretch his wings and try a different tact for this one.

Beyond that, we’re not giving much away on its character. Suffice to say, you’ll love it!

Must of taken down that part of the beer schedule, but it was on there, looked like it was getting released in July.
