There is brett in Saison Rue. I didn't get that character eather, but it is brewed with brett.

As you corrected, Carnevale are also brewed with brett and there is clear brett character. Before year 2009 Carnevale was without brett though.

    Cheers!

Bruery Saison Tonnellerie. Just finished my first bottle, nice brett character.

Sofie, surette artisnal saison, saison veille, veille saison all have great brett character. If you want something under the radar check out trinity brewing. Their red swingline is on par with juicy, but you wouldn't have to trade your first born for it.

While they don't call it a Saison, Sierra Nevada/Russian River collab. BRUX is pretty tasty. And it should be available pretty much everywhere. Just had one two days ago and its drinking nicely!

Tank 7 has brett? I thought the point of Saison Brett was that it was essentially Tank 7, but with brett.

Is that a rhetorical question? Tank 7 having brett isn't the only piece of crap info in this thread.

That's what I thought. Just playing it safe, because I make no claims of being an expert.

I had a legitimate question earlier in this thread, and maybe it's worth posting again: does Green Flash Saison Diego have any brett in it?

Both great beers by the bruery, but I didn't pick up on any brett. It says its there, just not tasting it.

I highly doubt it. There's some spice, but I don't remember any brett characteristics.

You should drink that Logsdon, not because it won't age well, just because you should know how good it is.

I'm surprised to see Boulevard mentioned so much here, and surprised how highly saison-brett ranks on this site. I find it pretty forgettable.

Sour saisons are delicious. Hill Farmstead are among my favorites.

Hmm, you might be right. If it does, it's definitely a light touch. Just searching around, I found some contradictory stuff though, and some things indicate that newer bottles are sterilized and filtered. Doesn't mean Brett wasn't involved and probably means the beer is more consistent, but you wouldn't get as much evolution over time. I still don't think of it as being very funky... You're definitely right about the value, though!

How was the corbonation? Everyone always talks about quality issues with LA. Everything I have tried has been good... but apparently it is only a matter of time before I get one that slipped through the cracks. So far so good, fingers crossed.

The two bottles I had of saison brett had no funk, no tang, no detectable brett flavors. Maybe that's why its so highly rated, most people don't like brett.
