Draw used to be the word for Draft as in Beer on draw. That was perhaps a bit too esoteric/obscure. We made a change. You are 100% correct - Nobi food is awesome. We really like those guys.

We started brewing last Friday. Our first three beers are Vanilla Cream Ale on nitro, Citrus Wheat, and Chocolate Milk Stout. We should have a soft opening in about 20 days. Can't wait to see you there!

No idea on the pizza yet. The beer is our main focus at this moment (as it should be!) and we are still figuring out kitchen stuff. I will report back when I have an update.

Hey dude! We are brewing. The TTB and TABC license stuff came through. Our yeast didn't show up on time so our friends over at 8th Wonder hooked it up. Let me just say that those dudes are awesome. They absolutely did not have any obligation to share yeast or know-how. I literally cannot say enough nice things about 8th Wonder.

our system is a 10bbl. we have three fermenters and two brights and will be expanding to 6 fermenters and 5 brights pretty soon. We are also looking to acquire a separate whirlpool unit to increase our output and cut back on 18hr brew days.
everyone is welcome to stop in and say hi. I don't have beer yet (20 days eta), but we can do a walkthrough and shoot the breeze.

Hey guys, Austin W here. We have changed the name to Saloon Door Brewing - the old name got a lot of negative feedback and was already owned by another company. We are very happy to have finally found a name that works. The first, second, and third batches are in the tanks and fermenting. We have the taps installed and are in the process of getting geared up to sell beer. Our first soft opening will be in March (towards the end), and we plan to have a grand opening once we get our logistics dialed in.

right on, bro. Nitro is the future. There is nothing else like it, and people go bananas for nitro beer. we have 7 nitro taps and will be adding 7 more soon. Basically, everything we do will be available on nitro with a few exceptions (IPA, etc.)

I haven't liked a nitro IPA I've tried yet... but I do enjoy stouts and porters.. especially coffee versions on nitro.

Looking forward to the opening. Pretty awesome to have y'all open soon just after the open of Bakfish in Pearland. Good for the area.

What's the 411 on the grand opening? I live on the north side of Houston but I am scheduled for meetings next week in Texas City....would really like to stop by and take a taste test.

no it isn't but i like that you guys are having fun with it.
remember though- nitro strips away alot of flavors.

If they aren't open you can make it over to Pearland's Bakfish which just opened last week. They are open until 9 most nights I believe and it isn't that far off of 45.
