Can anyone speak to the crowds at Sam Adams during the week? I am flying into Hartford tomorrow morning for a business trip but have a free day before the seminar I'm going to. I would like to hop in my rental car and drive to Boston to visit Sam Adams and then check out some American Revolution history around the city. I wouldn't make it to the brewery until about 2:00 or so, and I know their last tour on weekdays is at 3:00 and they are all first come, first served. Does anyone know what kind of crowd I should expect? I would hate to drive 2 hours to Boston and miss out on the tour. I'm thinking about calling them in the morning to see if they could make an exception for me and save me a spot for the 3:00 tour.

You should be fine just showing up. As long as it is a weekday and not around a holiday, I have not had trouble getting in the 3 times I've been there. Weekends? Forget about it. Way too crowded.
