    Everyone,

I saw an old thread about Sam Adams Brick Red only being available on draft at local Boston bars. Well I would like to share that I have spotted it in 4-Packs of cans in local Boston suburban liquor stores recently. Want everyone searching for it to keep their eyes peeled! Not sure as to why the people in JP decided to start distributing, but I am loving it!

    Thanks!

yah, that's weird. wonder what's going on that would lead them to think draft sales in local bars might be down...

I’ve seen it at a few local packies over the past month. Bought a 4-pack of pounders ($10.99 I believe) & it was tasty. Not ooohh gagaga woooowww tasty but a fine drinker.

I used to drink a lot of Brick Red when I lived in JP. I will be on the look out.

They canned it before bars closed I believe. I bought a four pack right before everything shut down, before St. Patrick's Day I think.

Yup, these were my thoughts exactly.

If you still have any packaged corned beef left from St. Paddy's Day, I'd highly recommend using this as the base in your slow cooker. I've tried about a dozen different beers as a base, and Brick Red has been one of my favorites so far.

They sold their liquor license at just the right time I’d bet. Can’t imagine anyone paying 400K for one now with the situation the restaurant industry is in.
