The best thing about fall beer season is that winter beer season is just around the corner!

What a shame. I was hoping their sales of last year's "Fall Favorites" (using that phrase loosely) would suck so bad that they'd go back to how they used to do it (Boston Lager, Octoberfest, Pumpkin Ale, and three other Autumnal-ish beers). Apparently they didn't suck bad enough. Now we get BL (fine), '76 (why???), Octoberfest (fine), and a crappy re-issue of Traveler's Pumpkin Shandy.

Such a waste of something I really used to look forward to and buy 3 or 4 times per season. Hard, hard pass.

Have found it at a Buy Rite in Manahawkin right before the bridge to LBI. Lived in manahawkin myself. But was 3 years ago

You can get it pretty easily in Massachusetts, but not every store carries it. Some stores always have it, others don’t carry it at all.

The Oktoberfest is on shelves here in Tennessee. At least in my neck of the woods. And yes, I did purchase it...in a market starved of good Weisn and Marzen offerings... it's my go to... I wish that wasn't true but it is... I've learned to live with it..

So far the only O'Fest I've seen in the District is Great Lakes'. That's a fine example, but I'm getting excited for the rest!

They should include cherry wheat people! It's a guilty pleasure for me. Nothing better for tailgates in the beginning of football season in my opinion

Cherry Wheat. Wow. Brings back memories. Do they even still brew it lol?

I drank way too much of that in college. I loved it - by the pitcher. I tried it a year or so ago again. Terrible! Either it changed, I changed, or both.

I used to buy almost every seasonal pack. I just can't do it anymore when both BL and 76 are in it. Very sad. I loved the winter pack.

No idea. I don't see it anymore. But not that I'm looking. The grocery stores here separate craft beer from the rest. They put Sam Adams with the bid lite. So I'm not over there on that side often! When football season comes around and we have people over I'll get a 12 pack of Boston lager. So the cherry wheat is either not here or limited release

If you like black lager, try devils backbone black lager. It used to be just called Schwartzbier. It's is amazing.

Yes, I do enjoy that one as well, although I find that it’s harder to get than a lot of their lineup.

Cherry Wheat is still brewed. I see 6-packs of it around. I too drank a ton of it in college but tried one again a few years ago and it's a one and done beer for me.

Tried the Jack O from this pack last night. Terrible in my opinion. Drain pour for me.

Wow. I figured you being that close to us you would have it often. Especially since InBev took over. What all do they have up there? I'm assuming Vienna, 8 point, and maybe gold leaf???

I’ve seen it at some DC liquor and grocery stores, but it’s mostly Vienna, sometimes Gold Leaf and 8 Point. The Schwartzbier somewhat common on draft as well.

Distro in the city is strange, I don’t understand it. I’m also getting frustrated trying to find München on Hops, their latest “Bavarian” IPA.

I don't know if I should tell you this but München is AHHHHHH-MAZING. They just recently opened up again and the first kegs went fast as hell. Think of it as a hoppy Oktoberfest...if you can. They do a Belgian IPA called catty wompus and I'm not a huge fan. But this is nothing like it. It's even brewed by Bavarian purity laws I think. It's a collaboration with Spaten. That's all I need to say really!
