    I saw this at a local store and it peaked my interest as I'd never seen it before.

    How is it and what does it run because I thinking this store had quite the markup on it......

    Had it on tap and I thought it was tasty so I went and picked up a bottle...paid $7.99 for it.

    I still haven't heard if this is the same beer as last year, it was draft only and called simply "Double Pumpkin"?

    yeah...the only place I saw it was charging 20 for a bottle...I though that was a mite high....only place Ive seen it though. I was just curious

    I was actually really disappointed in this one. It was like $6.99 here, but I got an artificial pumpkin taste when I drank it. I don't really know how to put it into words other than it just didn't taste right to me. I'm probably in the minority.

    I loved it. Super sweet, huge body, just a hint of smoke... I dug it. Would buy again.

    Unless it was something like Utopia, I wouldn't ever pay that much for a single bottle of Sam Adams... that's just me. This "Fat Jack" should have just been put in the Harvest Collection. All signs point to "meh" for it.

    Yeah I guess I started this more to confirm my suspicion that he was grossly overcharging for it.......not a totally uncommon thing for that particular place honestly.

    Consider me impressed as well. It sure beats the hell out of their seasonal pumpkin brew. I'm still thinking of buying another bottle and mixing it with something... but what?

    $11 here in Philly, but worth the price. I have it rated #2 out of 11 pumpkin beers I've tried so far this year. Very similar to Pumking, but without the intense graham-cracker crust taste.

    I was not impressed. Tasted like an imperial brown ale. Was okay; not great though.
