Yeah, thirteen would have been okay but for eighteen bucks you're better off spending your money elsewhere.

It was a cool idea for $13.99. $18 is too much unless you really liked latitude 48. But I had a few and enjoyed trying some of the single hop beers to get the flavors. Loved the Zeus and the mosaic was good.

I'd pick it up for 14$, it's a cool idea I dig it.

Something about the Sam Adams yeast tends to give many of their beers the same flavor to me. I stay away from the Latitude 48 these days, although I did like it at one point. I liked the Rebel IPA.

I would choose Option C: Get a different 12-pack and pocket the extra dough until you come across something you want.

Dark Horse did something similar with their Crooked Tree IPA a year ago. It was a mix case of Crooked Tree IPA and 3 single hop IPAs made with the same base recipe as Crooked Tree. If Dark Horse is still making them it's worth picking up.

Agree. Seems high for a 12pack of Sams which could be decent drinker but probably nothing special

If it were a $9 6-pk, I'd definitely do it, probably even a $10. But that's a lot more beer than I want to commit to at $18 per 12-pk

If it were a 12 pack of Noble Pils I'd go for it.

Hmmm. The dateline on that story was over 3 years ago, which is about the last time I'd heard/read anything about those SA single-hop beers. But apparently SA has resurrected them as there are recent reviews for all. I've never seen that SA 12-pack here in NY. Will look for it now though.

I was thinking the same thing SudsDoctor...I remember picking some up when it came out...by the way, the Zeus was the best of the bunch.

The hops/recipe has changed in Latitude 48 since the first deconstructed pack came out 3 years ago. You should be getting different beers than were in the first 12 pack.

I enjoyed trying the various hop varieties. Great tool for a party where
newbie craft beer fans can explore mild versions.
Thought Citra was a hop type? If so, why not include that offering?

What ever happened too noble pils. Haven't seen that beer in years.

It was a neat idea, but not one that begs repeating, especially since Latitude 48 is not a very good IPA, by my standards at least. And I'm not above Sam Adams.

Like others, I would pass at $18.00. For that price you could pick up the new Victory Summer Variety, or countless other variety packs. Or two low priced six packs

I enjoyed it during the last release but $18 will get me a lot better beer than a 12 pack of Sam, should be priced at $12.99.

I've seen this 12 pack in stores for at least 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately it's been priced at 18 bucks which makes this too much for my blood. I'd rather spend 18 bucks on a nice bottle of Parabola or something. Quality over quantity.

To be honest, I used to like Sam Adams beers but after trying so many better breweries I just stay away from SA. Rebel was pretty weak, especially since Limbo came out at the same time and blew it away. Whitewater IPA or w.e was pretty bad. Latitude 48 was mediocre. Alpine Spring was also rather unfulfilling.

There are so many better options out there other than $18 for a rather mediocre IPA (latitude 48). Hell, even lagunitas IPA 12-packs are $18 here in NY. I will take that any time.

It's pretty easy to find around me. It did seem to almost disappear (which I was not happy about, as I enjoy this beer) but it has since made a regular comeback.
