Yes Ive seen this and have been meaning to pick it up. Wachusett has a can IPA variety pack that I like that might be the better option I dont know.

Picked this pack up a week and a half ago for $18-19 to split w/ my brother, so the price wasn't too painful when cut in half. I haven't broken into my half yet but he's had 4 of the 5 single hop varieties and has loved the experience. I look forward to checking them out in a couple of weeks myself. Lat 48 isn't my favorite IPA by any means but I love this concept.

Hats off to SA for this great idea. Hopefully more breweries catch on to this idea and follow suit. Cigar City has a similar idea with their Hopped on the High Seas IPA although I haven't tried any of those.

Love that brew. It's a year rounder now, I see it regularly.

Regarding the mixed IPA pack...no thanks. I like Sam Adams brews (especially the aforementioned Noble Pils), but their IPA's have never tickled my fancy. And $18? Nah.

I'd pick it up, I love single hop IPAs.

So I drank #1-5 and to be honest if I did a blind taste taste there's no way I'd be able to tell them apart. I'd say it's not worth picking up really. Not that they were terrible its just not for the IPA nerd and more for the casual IPA drinker.

I also liked the idea of this but did not really like the beers. It's like how many tweaks can you give t just one beer. If done well it could be exciting, explanatory and even ingratiating in a good and not a lazy way. I say do it right and try again!

$11-$12 across the border in NH (no bottle deposit too!) definitely worth the price for the novelty. $18? probably not.

Hop presence in these beers is too muted by Sam's signature super sweet malt bill. Great idea, but a fail as an IPA.

I just picked this up and loved the East Kent Golding which was the fist I had.....the others seemed to taste the same a bit but I may have had palate fatigue at that point...got one more of each to try..

I did have the Lattitude 48 tonight and enjoyed it quite a bit with a fresh palate...looking forward to hitting those other single hops fresh buds

That's OK, SA didn't think of it first either. There was at least one brewery/brewpub in SEPA doing a single hop series back about 2006 or so and Mikkeller did their single hop series a few years after. "When it's time to railroad, people will railroad." :-)

I haven't picked this one up yet, partly based on comments here. But I did think they did a good job on this the first time it came out a few years ago. I definitely remember being able to tell the difference between each single hop. Not the case this time?

Drinking through one this evening. I think it is a cool idea. I am on the 5th one, so far I really liked the Simcoe and the Zeus one. Worth the $14 that I paid for the box.

I did the 12 pack 3 years ago when the Deconstructed Latitude 48 IPA samplers came out the only new varietal I've seen is Mosaic and it doesn't seem to be the bright tropical fruit juice I find in the Mosaic hops in Chillwave DIPA so what's the point of trying another 12 pack, also I've seen they put a number order on it now.

Also Dark Horse did come out with different hop varieties of Crooked Tree where everything was spelled backwards, for example:
edacsac eert dekoorc (cascade version). I had the Falconer's Flight, and possibly the Citra when they were first released.
