Yeah I understand. Not sure what those beers that aren't even close are exactly, but I get what you're saying.

BBC only makes beers they can sell. Hence the insane amount of seasonals that are palatable, and easy to drink. Like I said, I truly think this raw DIPA will be different. They're not losing sales...but they're losing the love of the craft beer geek which is definitely growing in size...

The people trekking up to VT/treehouse/trillium/etc is NOT just a beer geek who hunts whales, wears flannel/has beard, etc.

It's now moreso your average Joe who hears about these newfangled IPAs from these small breweries, has an aunt who tried heady once, knows someone who went out to bum fuck monson MA to get beer, etc, and wants to try them as well. These are the people that are starting to catch on to craft beer. And btw this is not a bad thing! Just alluding to the fact that these breweries are wildly popular, and it's not just beer geeks latching on anymore. BBC knows that, and wants to capitalize...that's all.

I got a 6 pack of bottles in Southwick MA week of 10/23 for $8.75. I will get it again. I rate it right along with Road to Ruin by Two Roads which is $10.00 and change for a 4 pack.

Rebel Raw or Rouser? If Rouser, I agree and think it's one of the only value dipas on the market.

Sam Adams Rebel Rider is just OK for me. Their Rebel Rouser is much better than my expectations. I'll definitely try the Rebel Raw. I'm a big hop and high ABV lover. I'll report my findings as soon as I see this one.

Umm, only beer geeks travel 2-6 or whatever hours to wait in line and buy beer. And take all day to do it and drive 100's of miles. People who buy beer walk into their local store and buy it. I work in Boston and only go to trillium once in a while.

I would like to try this. Not sure if it will make it's way to Chicago. I've enjoyed the others in the Rebel series.

If these are even 75% as good as something like Tribute I will be one seriously happy camper. Looking forward to your review!

I am not going to wait in line or drive miles and miles to get this beer. But if I see it, I am definitely going to buy some. People bash Sam Adams a lot but it's only because they're not the cool new kid anymore. But they're beer is still always good and priced right.

I am thinking that since it is Sam Adams, you won't have to jump through hoops to get it. I know I am looking forward to seeing this release. This, coming from a cool old kid .

Well it's described as "hazy" so I'm sure his review will call it unfinished and that it wasn't ready to be served.
