Last years Chocolate Bock was the my personal last drain pour, tasted like Hot Cocoa mix.
As soon as I seen the Harvest Pumpkin in 6 packs this year I immediately was hoping Fezziwig would be moving to sixers as well in the winter, one of the few SA beers I like.

So much of this. Especially when all the stores in town inevitably order too much and end up knocking the price down to 6.99 a 12-pack.

No, you aren't the only one...I feel the same way about those two beers.

I actually don't mind getting Boston Lager in every seasonal pack. It's still an old favorite of mine, so I can't complain. I'm certainly looking forward to the new 22 ounce bottles as well.

I usually buy the winter classics just for the Fizziwig, anything else that's enjoyable is just a bonus.

Bring on the Old Fezziwig!!! And I 2nd the motion to leave out the Boston Lager from every dang mix pack (I was happily surprised it was not in the "Hopology" pack). Nothing wrong with BL, but it would leave 2 more spots for something unique.

would you rather have it include BOSTON LAGER or CHOCOLATE BOCK?

    Note to Jim Koch...

Give your loyal fans a treat and put out a "Ultimate Winter Classics" 12 pack
    6 Old Fezziwig
    6 Holiday Porter

    Cheers!

Can't wait to pick up a case from Costco. The Winter Classics case is always superb bang for the buck.

Since no one has said it yet, it's highly likely that White Christmas will be replacing Black and Brew this year.

Also, judging by the date notches on the side, I wouldn't doubt if the Maple Pecan Porter was part of the spring sampler pack next year.

What's the deal with the Scotch Ale? That's in a different pack, I assume? I was hoping to see it this winter- especially by itself, but I guess that's too much to ask.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Scotch ale has been in the spring mix.

Thanks- I guess I'm way late on that one (or way early, if I can remember that in a few months )

I look forward to the Winter Classics pack every year. I love the Holiday Porter and Old Fezziwig so much. I try to to not drink the Porter of the Fezzi for two or three 12-packs so I can save up a few of them.

I REALLY hope I can find a keg of Old Fezziwig; my growler is itching for a fill.

edit: and thank the lord they are releasing the Maple Pecan Porter, it was so much better than the other sample

I can't wait for the winter beers to start arriving...that's my next favorite season for beer. Many memories with getting into Craft beer and trying all of the bigger, beers that were intended to "ward off the chill of a winters night". Hibernation Ale by Great Divide is probably one of my favorites. Can't wait for this to arrive as well. Just wasn't a huge fan of the Chocolate bock. Very excited the black and brew, I don't think I tried that yet.

Old Fezziwig was on tap in the NYC area I want to say either 2010 or 2011. (Sorry if that was said earlier)

I totally understand why they do it, I just wish that they would have a mixed pack without that beer every once in awhile.

I obviously live in the north, see avatar, and sipping on a Sam Adams Holiday Porter in a hot tub last December in Florida was absolutely divine.
