A hot tub in Florida? That just sounds pointless... the whole place is hot, even in December. If my avatar doesn't give it a way, I love winter and start bitching about it being too hot once the mercury pushes 75. Give me a holiday porter, a hot tub on a snowy evening, and some cute girl I met on the chairlift and I'm a happy man.

Damn straight. Give me the cold. I hate anything above 75 no joke. I LOVE this time of year and can't wait for winter. Cheers!

I liked the Black and Brew in last year. I am glad the White Ale was not in it. Not a fan of that one. Favorites are the Winter Lager,Holiday Porter,Uncle Fezziwig.

If they take out Black n Brew and add White Christmas, that will be 3 of the 6 beers being brewed with spices.

That's not much of a variety pack

I love Old Fezziwig and I wish Samuel Adams would release it in six or 12 packs, but I can see why they only put it in the variety packs.

The past two years, I have bought two variety packs (24 bottles total) so I could have four bottles of Old Fezzi. If they release it in smaller packages, I would probably buy either a single six pack, two six packs, or a single 12 pack. So by limiting Old Fezzi to the variety packs, they make more money off me, and I begrudgingly go along with it.

I’ll gladly drink the Holiday Porter, although I prefer other porters. I tolerate the Winter Lager and wish Old Fezzi would replace it in bars as the rotating seasonal. I’m not a coffee drinker, so Black & Brew was a struggle for me last year and I think I’d prefer White Christmas.

I haven't heard of a actual date yet but I know I purchased last year's pack on October 24th...so am guessing late this month early Nov...actually already saw Magic Hat's this morning

I haven't bought any Magic Hat in awhile but it might be worth getting just for Heart of Darkness, and the spruce tip ESB sounds interesting.

I've sent my yearly plea into Boston Beer for Ol' Fezzi to make it into other formats, you should too.

I never get the yearly Old Fezzi lovefest around here.
I'd much rather grab a sixer of Jubelale or Full Sail Wassail to drink all day, night, and early morning.

Will do, although I probably shouldn't mention that such a move would lead to them getting less money from me, heh.

I think this has become the "new" Cranberry Lambic

Never happen. It is done in the name of MARKETING. Joe sixer sees a seasonal pack. He's heard of Sam Adams. He figures....just this once....let's try something other than MGD. With multiple options.....he knows he might like something in there and the rest can get pawned off at parties. He just paid SA to get himself to try their flagship beer and possibly become a convert to something they sell all year long. Cha-ching!

I liked both, and I'm glad someone else besides me likes the bock.

Despite losing that contest, I just knew that Maple Pecan Porter would see the light of day eventually.

The people LOVE the chocolate bock though. I think it's very good personally, but I know a lot of people who aren't huge craft beer people who absolutely love it.

If they had Howl and Heart of Darkness I'd have been completely on board with MH, but they nixed Howl for Heart of Darkness. It's a good switch, but Howl was my favorite beer from them, so I'm disappointed for it to be on hiatus.

I liked Howl too, but it just didn't sell. I can still find grocery stores around here with Magic Hat seasonal SKUs that are still filled with Howl. It looks like Heart of Darkness is actually the seasonal now, so that'll be a hell of a pickup for me.
